This past New Years Eve, as I was passing by my art studio, I noticed a painting out of the corner of my eye. This painting was speaking to me. I listened. I saw a vision of an art deck that I had seen not too long ago in a dream. I realized in this moment that it was time to create the art deck that I had envisioned for some time and to bring it into the world.

On New Years day, I affirmed that yes, I was going to create this project and so there I started the creative journey. Everything opened spontaneously as I made a commitment to the project. Immediately my partner, Tyler, spontaneously called a family friend to see about printing opportunities and if he would enjoy overseeing and organizing the project. Yes! John was on board and happy to help.

As I opened to this creative project, I experienced new levels of reality daily. It was a bit like creating a sand mandala…I would spend hours creating a design, then to discover that the design was outgrown by another image coming in. This happened several times. It was a time of creating, letting go, creating, listening, surrender, being open to change, and starting all over again, so that the art truly honored the energy and highest vibration that it could be at this time.

Looking back over this great adventure, I learned so much about how to create and bring to reality an experience that is constantly evolving. In the completing stages of the project, the name “Luminous Vision Cards” revealed itself to me. The art cards had a name all the way until the final stage, when a friend inspired me to simplify the name. That day, I listened to her wise advice and opened to it’s new name “Luminous Vision Cards”. I love how language and words can open up a whole new reality. Spontaneously, I felt a new opening with the cards and a new opening within myself.

As the cards opened to it’s new name, “luminous Vision Cards”, I opened to truly being a Luminous Visionary; one who brings light and shares visions with the world.
